David Bond
Head of Field Fisher Waterhouse’s David’s work includes both domestic and international campaigns, advising both agencies and corporate advertisers in the following areas: advising on the legality and structure of free prize draws/sweepstakes, skill-based competitions and promotions, managing pan-European clearances, advising on food, cosmetic and health related claims and general product labelling queries within the EU, lodging and defending complaints relating to advertisements and promotions with the ASA and pursuing appeals against wrongful decisions. David advises the Incorporated Society of British Advertisers (“ISBA”) and the Advertising Association (“AA”), two of the UK's leading trade associations to the advertising industry, and operates ISBA's legal hotline service for members. Other clients include Centrica/British Gas, You Tube, eHarmony, Enterprise Rent a Car, Digital UK and MTV. David is a member of the British Franchise Association ("BFA"), the International Bar Association (“IBA”) and the Promotions Marketing Association, Inc (“PMA”). |
