Ed is the CEO of JAGTAG, a U.S. based mobile marketing firm. JAGTAG offers a unique 2D barcode solution that helps advertisers turn existing physical media assets into rich multimedia content for mobile users. JAGTAG is the only 2D barcode solution that doesn’t require a download and can work on all smart and standard phones equipped with a camera. The solution is used today by several leading brands including Sports Illustrated, Toyota, Red Bull and FOX Home Entertainment to deliver audio and video content, offer consumers the chance to participate in sweepstakes and CRM databases, and driving retail sales and the use of mobile coupons.
JAGTAG has powered the largest 2D mobile barcode campaigns in the country to date, and has recently expanded operations to include regions in Europe and South America. For the past 25 years, Ed has worked in the Global telecommunications industry. His experience with public accounting and entrepreneurial financial management has led Ed to found and drive numerous startups, from conception to public offering and ultimate sale. Ed has worked with several private companies, guiding them through private and public equity offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and the development of financial strategies for growth. Formerly, Ed acted as CFO for Flarion Technologies, which was sold to Qualcomm in 2006. Prior to Flarion, Ed founded ITXC Corporation and served as its CFO.
At ITXC, Ed led the acquisition of ITXC by Teleglobe. Additionally, Ed has served as the CFO of Dialogic Corporation, which was acquired by Intel. In addition to his professional achievements, Ed has also received several industry accolades. He is a Certified Public Accountant and was named “CFO of the Year” in 2002 by the New Jersey Technology Council.
