This Conference was launched by ERA EUROPE in 2007 to explore the Quiet Revolution happening in Home Shopping.

Every day sees increasing acceleration of Digital Technology penetration in households and in the hands and pockets of millions of consumers around the world, permanently connected to Media, Businesses... and Marketers. Such a technological revolution generates powerful change in Consumers buying behaviour, and the emergence of a new Multimedia Consumer, a profile which transcends gender, age, cultures and social segments.

 

As direct to consumer marketers selling through electronic media this has a hugely significant role to play in the future of our business. In some elements we are the undisputed experts in the field, however in other areas we still must strive to develop our businesses to keep pace with the revolution.

The Electronic Retailing Association is the trade association for companies who use the power of direct response advertising to sell goods and services to the public on television, online and on the move (mobile).
