Welcome to the website of the annual conference of ERA Europe, the European affiliate of the Electronic Retailing Association.
This conference is for companies who sell 'direct-to-consumer', to the many millions of consumers around the world who buy goods and services on TV, online, and on the move, via electronic media.
This show is an expo not only for the marketers and advertisers, but also key suppliers to the industry, such as call centres, warehousing & fulfilment companies, TV production companies, web design companies, legal firms, and of course companies and inventors with products looking for retail distribution into new territories.
The conference averages an attendance of around 350-400 delegates, with around 80% of those attendees at Executive Management level.
Last year in Rome we saw again over 350 attendees. Again, since the ERA started its European Conference 16 years ago, delegates and representatives from more than 45 countries were present. With 50% of the attendees from Europe and the Middle east and the other half coming from Asia and the American continents.
US and Canada was up 40%, Asia also 40% higher and Europe up 9%.
